Exam Pattern WB SET 2022
Basically, the WB SET or West Bengal State Eligibility Test is conducted in two sessions –
- Session I – This session contains Paper 1, which is conducted for 100 marks against 50 questions.

Step 1: The number of applicants who are to be qualified (total slots) for the position of Assistant Professor will be equal to 6% of the aspirants who appeared in both the SET papers.
Step 2: Basically, the total number of slots shall be allocated to various categories as per the reservation policy.
Step 3: To be regarded as ‘Eligible for Assistant Professor’ post, the aspirants must present in both the papers and secure a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) category or EWS contenders and a minimum of 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all applicants belonging to the reserved (SC, ST) categories.
