It’s just how things are. and you might apply the same technique. But the input is simply inaccurate or mismatched. but I’m glad you covered that. And I do want to say that around the processes and operational functions, there are quite a few. I mean, you know, on our consulting based clients, there are at least 10 that we go through, and we define that lots of these have been covered with other areas, especially the next one that we’re going to talk about, which is around the billing, the financials, and the tax considerations. But yeah, you know, it’s just important to note that there are many processes in your private practice. Whether you realize it or not, we can cover billing financials and tax considerations in our practice management course.
You know, I said it in one of the articles we wrote where we said, “It’s the heartbeat of your private practice.” And that means if you don’t do the billing, no money comes in, and you know, in any business, if no money comes in, that business doesn’t stay around for a long time. And contrary to popular belief, you cannot run a business at a loss for many years; it’s just impossible to do. Because if you’re doing this, you’re obviously doing something wrong, firstly, and secondly, you’re in a business that’s not paying you anything.

So why would you be in that business? So I think if that’s the case, then what I’m saying with that whole point is that the billing and financial functions are important ones. and it’s important to see it from Is it positive or negative, as in? Is it working? Or is it not working, and if you cannot get to grips with the complexity of those processes, you do need to get assistance? And assistance doesn’t mean people. I mean, it could be a system like learning a practice management course, a good software solution like practice management software, or education, but you do need to do something to be able to get to that level and get that thing right. The other one, and I kind of just mixed it up there in terms of tax, is a topic in its own right, and depending on the complexity of the private practice setup, this could be quite daunting in its own right. And normally, with this, you’re going to get external help.
Don’t ever meet a healthcare practitioner who’s also a tax practitioner. and maybe there are some out there. But normally, this is a specialist skill that healthcare practitioners either ask for assistance with, pay for assistance with, or outsource. I know shares are on your side.
